Hi Admin[/ b]
Please can you change the extensions of categories, for example:
mydomain.com/Entertainment/Music/
to
mydomain.com/Entertainment/Music/index.html
.html pages a search engine friendly and i'm sure that all the links will be indexed, [b]IT IS VERY IMPORTANT and i think it's not difficult to change that.

I would have thought mydomain.com/Entertainment/Music/ and mydomain.com/Entertainment/Music/index.html would be handled exactly the same by SEs. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Your:
mydomain.com/Entertainment/Music/ - are a index.php file
and here
mydomain.com/Entertainment/Music/index.html - are a html file
SEs index better .html files than .php files
i'm very sure of that, cause i had 5 site that was in php and when i made them in .html , i got more SEs better listings

dear skalinks,
I talked with an SEO expert and he told me that php file extensions are the reason for no indexing pages in SEs. There a lot of sites that are linking to powered by ww.skalinks.com with your script but i didn't find no one link to your site. Look yourself link:www.skalinks.com ?!
Please make imediately the changes, rewrite index.php extension to index.html extension.
Thank you.

When clients send request to the server for directory, they know nothing about
index file. The server return content (either static of dynamic) only of index,
but no file name itself including extension. Thus if You don't write into URL
index explicitly, there no difference if it is html, php or something else.
What about google not indexing php, I don't believe this. If this is true, it
is nonsense.

I did'nt find no one till today, but i know a lot of html static seo friendly directories that SEs are indexeing them very friendly and i found a lot of backlinks

Hello Slavik
There is not only .htaccess file is nessesary, for including index.html pages in category, it is nessesary to modify other php and tpl files and I can not to display you all changes, which is nessesary to make, on this forum, because it is so much code. Please, wait for new version release, also, if you does not want to wait, you can contact me ( admin@skalinks ), and we will discuss with you the custom modifications of SkaLinks, specially for you.
Thank you !

You see there are numerous billions of index.php pages returned by google in the URL and links.
"php codes that influence negatively"
php code, java code or any other code can't influence nigher negatively nor positively, because executing code is not been sent to the client. Client receive content generated by code executing on the server. And this content is html code in most cases. Thus no matter what file name is. Only content, received by client matter.

Hi all!
Well, I think that it is no any differents between php and html extensions for SEO. But, we will include the posibilities to setup the URLs in skalinks, because anybody decide for himself what URLs are must be present in his directories.
Thank you!
