A auto linkback checker.
Every 30 days it would check the return link and if it has been removed(or moved) the program would send a warning email with a link in the email to reply with the new linkback url. It would add the new linkback URL the directory.
If no answer in a week the link would be removed from the directory and the link that was emailed would now forward to add a link page.

Any progress with this feature? I don't necessarily need automated checking, but the ability to check if sites are still linking back is essential.

Yes, there is a very big progress i this feature. Now, SkaLinks has the power advanced LinkBack Verification System, there are two routines of working this system: Simple mod - script just check, if there is a backlink to your site on URL, and if scipt will found back link, you will see the message, that BackLink is valid, and Full mod - scrip find the back link, and if it will find backlink, script follow to this backlink, and if the returning by Apache HTTP code is right, then you will see the message, that LinkBack is valid, the second mod is more power then first, but it is nessesary more time for checking backlinks, what mod you need, please choise, you can do it in "Settings" page.
There is a power engine of Back link verification, which was written specially for SkaLinks by our programmers, the system search back link with all HTML rules and HTML comments, please, check this feature now.
Alos, auto checker was not included in ver.1.4 , but, if there will be many customers, who really wants this feature, then we will include this in next version.

I did not see the feature at first - sorry for not looking longer!
I know my clients would appreciate an automated checking system, so I would appreicate this in future version.
