Hi there,

thanks for the wonderful software and scripts.

I have followed the instructions based on http://www.skalinks.com/inst_manual.php

After unzip the folder "skalinks_1_5", I can't see the folders "cache" and "compile"

I wonder how come I can install the script after keying my dbase user name and sql username and password...

After the installation, I managed to see this

However, I can't click on http://www.17minasthmaandallergysecrets.com/Links/
and
http://www.17minasthmaandallergysecrets.com/Links/search.php
and
http://www.17minasthmaandallergysecrets.com/Links/dirtree.php

It gives me a errors problems...

Please advises me and how should I rectify this problems...

Thanks a lot.

Regards,
Eddy

I had a similar problem, but it may not be the same. After the smooth installation, I clicked on "Directory" and "Find URL" and got the following 500 Internal Server Error:

Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@jrothraministries.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I tried logging out to see if anything different happened and got the same error.

So, I tried logging back in and now I type in the username/password and it doesn't give me an error nor let me log in... just refreshes the screen with my username/password in the fields.

Hello Jrothra,

It seems that there were some temporal troubles on your hosting. Now your site is working correctly.

The page operates fine, but I'm still having trouble logging in. I try logging in as the administrator using the username and password I setup, but then the page acts as if it refreshes. Nothing in the top menu says "log out" and never tells me I'm logged in. Any ideas? I'm baffled.

Site login? You mean to my entire site? I'd rather not post my admin username/password on here in the public. I'm sure you understand. :)

I've created an account to give you access to the directory info. I'll email you the info, but I need to know where to send it. :)

Jrothra,

I didn't mean that you should post your access information here in forum but send it to our mail.

Here is our e-mail: info@skalinks.com
