Hi
When someone submits a link to a category, it dissapears until the link is approved. Is this correct?
Also, how can I stop uses from adding categories themselves and just allow them to add links?
Thanks

Hi Anonymous
When categories adds visitors ( not editor ), then categories gets status "Not Approved", and editor whould approve this categories; visitors can't view "Not approved" categories ( and links ), if you want to stop visitors from adding categories, well, you whould delete link "Add Category" from file header.tpl in templates folder, but it isn't really nice, because visitors whould insert URL in browser command promt; well we discuss this option in SkaLinks for new version with our developers.
Thank you for your note!

Hey Admin, You answer question other then You get above.
We don't talk about "Not Approved" category. The obvious bug is that
adding "Not Approved" LINK cause dissappearing containing category!

hello bug
well, as I sayed, the link can't appear in category, while admin not approve it or link appears in category when the link is submitted by editor, if the ink was submitted by visitor, editor must apporove this link, and then the link will appear in category, that is all :)
Thank you!

Admin, You don't understand the problem again: disappear
CATEGORY, APPROVED category, not link! Why? May be You never
saw this situation. Try to do so: create category, approve
it and then as ordinary user (not admin) submit link to this
new category. You see: category disappear as result of this
action. When admin approve new link, category come back.
But while new link remain disapproved, nobody can submit new
links to this category. Is it good behaviour? I don't think
so.
There are some other bugs. When admin change the link, the
letter sent contain the name of variable <LinkBackMessage>
instead of its value. And other bug: in all massages the
variable <our_SiteBizname> get value of the variable
<our_LinkLocation> which itself get value of other variable
<your_LinkSite>. Fine! If user got such email, he should
think if admin is crazy.

Hello bug
Thank you for your note and detecting bugfixes!
The first bug we will correct in new version.
The problem with <LinkBackMessage> variable can be correct by removing this variable from message template in Settings page, because, this variable was not made provision in this message template ( when link was modified ), because this variable was not made speccialy in our Link Exchange Strategy.
Well, I didn't find the problems with <our_SiteBizname>, <our_LinkLocation>, <your_LinkSite>, can you describe your situation more, when you get, that all this 3 variables have one value, please?
Thank you for using and testing our product!

No, they have different values, but incorrect values.
Ok, example for Your demo directory. If I am posting the link http://lambda-the-ultimate.org/, then I've got conformation message, which is OK. But when You approve this link, the message sent with incorrect variables values:
<your_LinkSite> => <empty value>
<our_SiteBizname> => http://www.skalinks.com/dir/programming/listing375.html
<our_LinkLocation> => http://lambda-the-ultimate.org/
