Hi,
I am trying to install on a Windows box. I am getting the error 'The path to directory is wrong. Couldn't find dump file :'.
The root path I was given by the hosting company was: D:\home\robman\my-teething-baby.com
I have tried this a various formats such as:
/home/robman/my-teething-baby.com
/robman/my-teething-baby.com
Can someone please help me get over this problem

Are you hosting this yourself on your windows pc or have you uploaded it to the internet?

I've upload the script to my webhost (windows) and created the database. I've now got the installation to work further, inasmush as I've figured out the correct root_dir.
HOWEVER I STILL HAVE A PROBLEM. When I type in the admin user and the password 'test' I don't get logged into the control panel. I just get prompted again for the admin user and password.
Any ideas or suggestions would be really appreciated.

robino you have asked for my help via my site, I have replied to you twice and had no reply!
For all those people who have changed the admin logon details and have forgotten their new logon details, follow the simple steps to reset them back to the default settings.
Login to mysql database using phpadmin or any other dbase management application.
1. locate the skalinks database.
2. locate dir_admins (this may be called something else look for one that has _admins in the name)
3. click on browse & edit.
4. Locate the Name field and enter admin as the value.
5. Locate the Password field and copy & paste this;
4a3e67532faf81a6abbe8704f8c0b620
as the value.
This will reset it back to the default:
Admin Name: admin
Admin Password: test
When I help people the least they could do is reply to their emails.

Pasado,
I'm truly sorry I haven't answered your emails. I honestly haven't received them. My email address is robin@my-teething-baby.com. Perhaps I gave an incorrect address. Also, I live in England (Hampshire) we could talk by phone (or Skype) if you like.
I tried what you suggested above, but still no joy. I do appreciate efforts people make on my behalf.
