Hi I'm using Skalink and I have to say that this is a great script. I have only a problem with page-ranks. How it works? Is it the google page rank? I try to rebuild all page rank but they are always 0. Why?

Is it the google page rank? Yes mate, SkaLinks page rank uses the yellow stars.

Why cannot I set the correct page rank of the listed files?

if its google page rank you can't but if its skalinks star rating login to admin and edit each listing, scroll down the page until you find the Rank dropdown box & choose a number 1 to 10, then choose Modify Link.
you can only edit 1 at a time... bit of a bitch if you have a lot to do!
Maybe if this script is still alive and there is going to be an update, it would be nice to change the ranks in batches especially if you have a lot to do with the same rating!

Page rank can not work only if your hosting does not allow remote connections, or your site is banned by google.

You may not have a page rank yet because of the 'google sandbox'. some people believe they put your site in a sand box for 6 months to ensure your site is good and not just an over night wonder.
