Hi,

I installed your directory on a subdomain of my site dysotek.it: aziende
If I click on a category I receive a blank page (404 not found).
The mod rewrite is active on my hosting.
I tried to set off the mod rewrite on the directory control pannel, but the url of categories doesn't change from static to dynamic.
The 777 permissions have been given as you told in the installation guide.
Someone can help me?
Thank you!

I see the folder of the categories in the FTP, but inside there are not files.
I think that would have to be an index.html file in each folder.
The folder of the categories in the FTP have a 755 permission.
Someone can help me?
Thank you.

Hi Francesco

Did you set chmod 777 for root directory before installation?
And is SAFE MODE inabled on your hosting?

Thank you for the help.
In the root of my domain dysotek.it this is the path (in capital letter the folders):

SUBDOMAINS --> AZIENDE --> HTTPDOCS --> "where are the site files for the subdomain aziende.dysotek.it"

Before the installation, I changed the directory HTTPDOCS from 755 to 777.
Is it correct or I had to set the root of the main domain (dysotek.it) or another folder?

I think that would have to be an index.html file in each folder.
I had a similar problem to this and here is what I did:

login as admin, click on settings, click on 'URL display' and change http://www.your_site.com/dir/category/index.html to http://www.your_site.com/dir/category/index.php you may have to change the other two links as well... oh yeah don't forget to click on save changes

Pesado, there is the same error if I do the change you told.
I found informations about the SAFE MODE, and if it is active on the hosting the directory can't works fine.
Monday I ask to my hosting if it is possible to disable it.
