Tried updating to 1.5, cannot connect to database now? is there a file or log from 1.4 to look at what i used for db name , db username, and db password?

getting these errors now.

cache,compile, and db backup @777
install dir @ 777
.htaccess @777
What else could it be?
Got the correct db information from before.

well got through the update installtion, and now I cannot login using admin-test , or anything else, also when I click on my old 1.4 links in my categories getting this error:

I have the new dir named skalinks_1_5 and tried to change it back to skalinks_1_4 to keep my exchanged links valid, but that did not work.
