Many programs out there claim that they can automise all the tasks of exhanging links with other companies on the Web. According to them you can almost forget about it and it happens on it's own...
How much is true in this and what is the reality? I didn't start exchange-linking a long time ago and although I'm very patient, I find it very hectic so far, I'm sure I could do a lot to ease this messy activity. Also I think that what may lack on this site is a short but good method to enhance the use of Skalink to minimize the efforts and teach methodology on how do deal with link exchange.
For ex. I read here that some people use the sql table and said it's easier. I downloaded the "backup" and looked at it in textpad and I just recuperate from post traumatic symptoms after I saw it ;) (just joking). Meaning that this is difficult for non programming people: is there a program to work on a sql table easily and what can I do with this file? Too many question come when using Skalinks.
I'm sure that there are a lot of functions that are great that will be left unnoticed because there is no presentation of how to be an effiscient power user of the skalink software. For ex. it takes time to understand how to use effisciently the email templates. The idea is to save time for anyone here, so to recapitulate myself:
how can we gain time when dealing with link exchange in combination with the skalinks software? What are the methods? I can only invite anyone to participate on this one, users are the ones who have the experience of those tools and why skalinks rather than an other... I don't even know that yet...
I really believe that many wish to get more support in this way although many don't like to read manuals either... The forum is the best place for that on one side but on the other side a clever tutorial is a must.
Thanks giving your feed-back if you have something interesting to say on the topic.
