I have a bit of a problem with loggin in.
I have triple checked the chmod's
I have tried to remove the password from database and log in.
I have cookies enabled.
I have searched here for anything else.
I am not allowed to login with the default admin/test
I was able to create an editor login but cannot do anything with it.
Anytime I try I get access denied or get sent back to the log in screen.
I love this script and the way it is setup but this is getting frustrating.
Any ideas??
Thanks a bunch
Dean

I use IE
I may have found the issue.
My host has blocked the .htaccess file, I can not upload it.
Could this be the issue?
If so is there anyway around it?
To see it live
www.hotrodforums.com/links/
try the admin/test combo
Thanks

Interesting :)
When I went to the page I was logged in as admin, with out logging in.
I didi log out and back in again.
The only problem I now see is that there are functions I cannot do even logged in as admin.

I'm having a similar problem.

I installed on one domain and tried changing the admin login settings.

That resulted in me losing Super Editor priviledges so I can't access much
of the control panel.

I wiped out all files from server and then installed on another server.

It worked fine.

Trying to reinstall it on the original server now and I can log in as admin
but I don't get Super Editor access...only Editor access (meaning I can't
see most of the Control Panel settings).

Could this be a cookie issue? I already have them enabled.

Funny,

I spent several hours trying to figure this out before
bringing it to the forum. As soon as I post? I figure it out!

I fixed it through CPanel and PHPAdmin.

Went into the database row and changed admin record
from Type 1 to Type 2. I can access the Control Panel
Now.
