I downloaded the program, but there are no files named compile or cache??? I chmod the rest of the ones listed, but these 2 are not found...
• script_root_directory <--- /links/
• db backup folder <--- /links/admin/db_backup
• .htaccess file <--- /links/.htaccess
• cache directory ( for example: /my/home/dir/cache/ ) ????
• compile directory ( for example: /my/home/dir/compile/ ) ????
/links is my directory... Help, I'm lost now!

Hello Aaron Bennett.
Cache and compile are not files, but the folders. And they are in the root of archive. For example, if links is your folder with Skalinks in it, then the comlile compile folder is in links/compile. And the same is with cache.
But if you didn't find it, then create them yourself and set chmode 777 for them.
