I tried to install skalinks and I got the following error:

Warning: main(headers.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home2/internet/public_html/links/index.php on line 2
--------
I don't have the headers.php file. Where can I get the headers.php file?
any suggestions??

Didi you set chmod 777 for /home2/internet/public_html/links/ directory before start installation process?

Hi there,
I did have the same problem and I did chmoded the files.
A header file has been created but it gives me an error when I login to it
This is it
Warning: main(/annuaire/smarty/Smarty.class.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/www/ayoye.ca/annuaire/headers.php on line 70
Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required '/annuaire/smarty/Smarty.class.php' (include_path='.:/opt/php/lib/php') in /home/www/ayoye.ca/annuaire/headers.php on line 70
I did a manual dump and still nothing works.
Any ideas

Please, check this variables in headers.php file:
$_url_main_site , $_url_root, $_dir_root .
May be you inserted incorrect values of this variable, when you installed the script.

That was my problem, my site is a sub site so there was a varaible missing.
Now I got the software to work, but it seems that the directory's main page is always the admin with all the options, no way for me to log out as an admin, and when I go directly to the directory, it shows the settings page and all. Is this due to a permission problem.

Hi ,
Please, go to "Control Panel" page, where you can logout, for login again, please, use the url http://www.yoursite.com/skalink_dir/admin/ , insert your username and password. That is all :) , also, in new version will placed the LOGOUT button in header, and you whould logout from any place in script.

There are no any languages packs, except the Russian, but this language pack only for ver.1.3.2, not for 1.4
